SPACE ECO :::: Objectives | The Space and Economy Symposium “What are in 2010 the Space Business perspectives?” 9 - 10 June 2010 |
The Space and Economy Symposium, the "Space-eco Symposium", intends to become a biannual event to be held in the frame of the Toulouse Space Show (TSS), a "space week" grouping several space symposiums or events every two years in Toulouse, France. The Space-eco Symposium aims at a large international participation with representatives from most nations active in Space. Integrated in the TSS, it will benefit from a larger audience with the possibility offered to the TSS participants to attend all events in addition to their focal symposium. The TSS 2010 should include a large industrial exhibition, the Space Application symposium as in the 2006 and 2008 occasions, plus a NEREUS symposium, the "Disruption in Space" second edition symposium, a telecommunication symposium and several other events not yet fully finalized. High standard contributions will be presented in the Space-eco symposium, covering all aspects of Space Economy. Both research works and business presentations would compose the agenda with this unique possibility of confronting the field experience of companies active in the space field and research laboratories in economy analysing the space domain. The Space-eco Symposium is a good occasion to present results to an international audience and to learn what is happening worldwide in the field. Wishing to install a tradition of high quality, the symposium wishes to be an excellent working environment where formal sessions are complemented by informal opportunities to exchange ideas and opinions on economy of Space in general or on any specialized topic of this field. The quality of the contributions, mixed with the special atmosphere of the Toulouse Space Show events and of the Toulouse region, will give this event a unique taste. | |
