SPACE APPLI
3rd International Space Applications conference
8 - 11 juin 2010

 SA

The third International Conference on Space Applications*
will take place in Toulouse from 8 to 11 June 2010.

The Conference will provide an opportunity to demonstrate how new satellite-based services and applications are playing an increasing role in simplifying everyday life for us all. This covers themes as diverse as environmental management, health issues and economic development.
The
Conference is aimed particularly at those who are engaged in developing new and innovative technologies for the Space sector, especially for applications designed for the general public, to allow them to share their experiences. It is also for all those who believe that Space is the key to resolving their technical and economic requirements, either alone or when combined with other technologies.
The
Conference will include both plenary and poster sessions so that innovators and users can meet directly.

Of the 4 days, one half-day will be devoted to GMES, GALILEO and ICTs. The following three and a half days will cover the four themes listed in the ‘Call for papers’ section. The programme for these three and a half days will be finalized once the proposals in response to the call for papers have been evaluated.

Throughout the week of the symposium an exhibition will be open to the public, displaying software, hardware and services developed and made available by commercial and public institutions.

It is intended that the Conference continue to be an essential international forum for operational Space applications.

* 3rd edition after 2006 (at the Cité de l’Espace) and 2008 (Centre Pierre Baudis)
