List of potential themes for presentation proposals:

  • Satellite propulsion: More efficient and/or less dangerous new technologies
  • Launcher propulsion : new propellant combinations and corresponding motors or engines
  • Space technology spin-offs for terrestrial applications
  • Communications within satellites
  • High performances energy generation and storage
  • Modern avionic architectures
  • Sophisticated structural materials
  • Advanced heat transfer and dissipation
  • Tribology and mechanisms in vacuum: new concepts
  • Advanced techniques for satellite to Earth links
  • Use of EEE COTS : approaches and limits of utilisation
  • Focal planes for instruments : new concepts and related needs
  • Technologies of large antennas and deployable structures
  • Onboard navigation : new domains and related performances
  • Management of technologies: TRLs, Roadmaps, etc.: definitions and uses
  • Space debris: mitigation and avoidance

 Working language

Working language is English.

 

 Abstract Submission

ALL submissions (PDF format) must be made on-line from the web site.
If you are submitting multiple papers, you only need to create one web account. Please use the same account (access code) for any additional submissions.
If you need to edit any author information or re-submit your paper, it may be done until the submission deadline. Please use the unique web account you created during initial submission, to edit or re-submit.
Abstract sent by email will NOT be accepted.

 

 Abstract Guidelines

Abstract must be in English and must include:

  • Title of the paper
  • Surnames and first names, postal and email addresses of the authors
  • An abstract on one A4 page (maximum)
  • Font: Times - Size: 11 - Line spacing: single

 

 Specifications for the Electronic File Format

The abstract MUST be submitted as a PDF-file, saved under PDF 1.4 (Acrobat 5), PDF 1.5 (Acrobat 6) or PDF 1.6 (Acrobat 7). Scanned PDF-files are not allowed. The files must be created using a PDF-distiller, all fonts must be embedded. The file may NEITHER contain any form of security, NOR bookmarks, links or multiple files in a single PDF file.

  • Notification to Authors     15 February 2010
  • Preliminary programme    15 March 2010
