logo_cnes« NetSat » Day, satcom technical workshop on network and access

Tuesday 1st July 2014 – 09:00 > 18:20 – Room Argos – Level 1

The aim of this day is to provide an opportunity for discussion and exchanges about satellite « high layer » technical topics, based on the presentation of a selection of current works.
In telecommunications networks as a whole, satellite telecommunications have been largely marginalised to commercially profitable TV broadcasting applications. The interactive services represent open issues on their integration in terrestrial networks. This meeting will focus on all networking technologies that can facilitate the integration of satellites in the constantly changing telecommunications environment and increase the overall performance of satcom systems.
As NetSat Day is about Space Telecommunications, the NetSat Day is compatible with roundtable 3 » Telecoms, the leading space application, what stakes for the future? » which may interest the participants.
